- Element stuck at full power The control is no longer switching that element. Stop using it

A glow that comes and goes
Wolf electric cooktops hold a setting by switching each element between full power and none; the higher the setting, the longer each burst of full power lasts. So an element that glows, dims and glows again is doing its job. One that stays bright at every setting is not, and one under cracked glass must not be used at all.
The panel is shared
The touch controls carry the same lock, timer and hot-surface light as the Wolf induction models, so those rows in the induction table apply here as well. The hot-surface light can stay on after the top is switched off, for as long as the glass is still hot.
