Letter-and-Number Codes on a Wolf Induction Display
Most letters and numbers on a Wolf induction display come from its timer, its settings menu or, on older models, a HOT warning, and Wolf publishes no fault-code list for its current models.

What Wolf’s guides actually list
The current guide for the CI induction and CE electric tops shows heat as a row of dots between a small flame and a large one, not as numbers, so in normal use the only characters sit in the timer window: the countdown, and the two-letter labels of the settings menu. It lists no fault codes at all.
The older CT guide says a locked panel can show an error code that the CLEAR pad removes, and that a code which comes back is a service matter. It gives no meanings, and neither do we.
Before you ring
The rating plate under the cooktop carries both the model and the serial, and so does the product registration card packed with it. Note which zone was on, what you were doing when the characters appeared and whether they came back after a clear.
