Rangetop Flame Goes Out at the Lowest Setting
On a Wolf sealed-burner rangetop, a flame that dies right at the bottom of the dial usually has a cap out of place, part-blocked ports or a fan pulling at it.

Where the lowest setting sits
On Wolf’s dual-stacked sealed burners, as its gas range and gas cooktop guides set them out, the simmer settings lie past a detent; pressing the knob in there lets it travel on, and the flame passes to the second tier of the burner. If you smell gas
Wolf’s gas range guide is specific: leave every appliance unlit, leave electrical switches alone, and make no call from a phone inside the building. Ring your gas supplier from a neighbour’s phone; failing that, ring the fire department. Book the burner repair once they have been.
